When Your Cry Reaches Heaven.

Based on Mark 5:1–20
Before Jesus delivered the man.
He crossed a storm to get to him.
Think about that.
Jesus left one side of the lake, endured a violent storm,
and arrived at a place many people would have avoided. Why?
Because there was a man waiting on the other side.
A man who was isolated.
A man who was suffering.
A man who could not free himself.
A man that society had given up on.
Yet Jesus came for him.
I often wonder if, beneath all the chaos and torment, the
man had been crying out for help in his own way.
Perhaps he did not know how to pray.
Perhaps he could not find the right words.
Perhaps all he could offer was pain, desperation, and longing for freedom.
Yet Heaven heard him.
Prayer is not always polished words.
Sometimes prayer is a groan, a tear, sitting in silence, not knowing what to say.
Sometimes prayer is simply reaching for Jesus when life feels overwhelming.
The beautiful truth is that God hears what others cannot hear.
He sees what others cannot see.
He understands the cries we cannot put into words.
The man in Mark 5 may have looked abandoned, but he was not forgotten.
Jesus was already on His way.
Some people reading this may feel like they have been praying for a long time.
Others may feel too tired to pray.
Some may wonder if God sees their situation at all.
Be encouraged.
The same Jesus who crossed the storm for one broken man
still responds to the cries of His people today.
Your prayer has not been ignored.
Your tears have not been wasted.
Your cries have not gone unheard.
God knows exactly where you are.
And He is still able to step into impossible situations with healing,
freedom, and restoration.
Reflection Question:
What burden, concern, or hidden struggle have you been
carrying that you need to place before Jesus today?
Before the man ever reached Jesus, Jesus was already crossing
the storm to reach him.
