When the work becomes great, vision alone is not enough. Nehemiah understood that growth required strategy, clear communication, proper positioning, and dependence on God. Nehemiah 4:19–20 teaches us how to build wisely without allowing our systems and strategies to replace our trust in the One who gave us the vision.

When Sanballat mocked the rebuilding work, his words were aimed at weakening the identity, faith, and confidence of God’s people. This teaching reveals how the enemy uses ridicule, discouragement, and distorted thinking to challenge what God is restoring, and why believers must know the Word, guard their minds, stand in spiritual armour, and keep building.
